Travelling isn't complete without music.

Whether your melting yourself on a lounger, gazing out of dusty bus window or just chilling, where would you be without your sounds?

Fraser Island, Queensland, Australia.

Sounds - Grace by Jeff Buckley

What could be better? Backpacking around Fraser Island, trekking through a rainforest and walking along miles of beach. Well, the swim bettered it. Waddling into a vivid blue Lake McKenzie and then watching the sun go down while listening to Grace by Jeff Buckley. Awesome.

Goreme, Turkey.

Sounds - The Wall by Pink Floyd

A backpacking trip around Europe that reached its pinnacle in Goreme. I can’t quite remember where we stayed but it was definitely in a cave. We had many Pink Floyd moments, particularly with the Wall, which was heavily relied upon.

Vaal River, Free State, South Africa.

Sounds - Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake

I was fishing on my own. I can’t believe the size of the fish I caught here and how frequently I reeled them in. Being alone, my tales of the fish being “this big” were wasted. I did, however, have Nick Drake’s River Man to keep me company. I will go again, with others to validate my achievements. A fantastic setting.

Nullabor Road, Australia.

Sounds - Hejira by Joni Mitchell

Three blokes in a car. There is as much smoke in the car as coming out of the exhaust. The road just doesn’t end but goes on and on. The sky is endless too. Joni Mitchell’s Hejira is looping round and round. Nice and easy.
